I called General Handyman Services to look at a leaking kitchen tap and a blocked drain. Slavic, I believe that is his name, was on my doorstep within minutes from my call. He quickly ascertained the cause of the two issues, the kitchen tap needed replacing due to a small crack. Slavic and I discussed and agreed to replace the tap for the same make and model and I saw the price online. Slavic went to buy it and once back fitted the new tap to my complete satisfaction. He then proceeded to unblock the outside drain which he did very quickly and efficiently. I was extremely pleased by the quick response, efficiency and the work quality and I would fully recommend this firm. ~ Manlio P

There was a crack in my shower tray, I asked for a quote to get it replaced and they replied the same day and attended whenever was good for me. Stanley, who did the job itself, was really nice, got to work straight away, and managed to remove old tray, fit the new one all on the same day and cleaned after. Very pleased and definitely recommend. Used them again to make box to cover pipes for new boiler and some tiling/odd jobs around house and Artur was really good. Used them again to hang a heavy picture (15kg) as I wanted to make sure it would be safe and Michael arrived right on time and did it in 30mins and happy with it. ~ Daisy

I recently had my bathroom that was showing its age renovated. Slawek and Artur, did an exceptional job from start to finish, leaving the bathroom looking fabulous. They ripped out the entire old bathroom, moved piping and wlelectrics around, and then did the complete tiling, installation of furniture and electrics. The pictures attached will show the quality of their work. Most importantly, they came on time, worked through the day with no supeevision required and were always amenable to any changes required / requested. I called at 8:30am and asked for a plumber to remove an old toilet and install a new toilet I had purchased. Artur arrived at my house at 12:30 the same day. Very professional, no complaints, just got on with the job. I am very happy, pleased with the work. He cleaned up and left all rubbish neatly outside. This company is very professional. Highly recommend and I would use them again. I used this company a second time. Slavic replaced bath and sink. Excellent standard of work and very professional. He cleaned up after himself. After a poor experience with a previous builder who was Romanian, Slovak from General Handyman Services sent me Artur, who stepped in and completely turned things around. He expertly corrected the issues with our media wall and wall-mounted TV, ensuring everything was secure and finished to a high standard. He also installed a second tv in a separate room and big chandelier with great care and precision. Slavik did bathroom work for me. Removing a bath, installing a walk-in shower, replacing a single bulb to 5 spot lights, replace a broken exhaust fan and installing acrylic panels. He visited our place twice, answered all questions, recommended options and provided the flexibility of either buying materials myself or he can get it himself. He completed the work in 2.5 days end to end. The work is top notch and quick. I will definitely consider him for other renovation work in the future. ~ Dishant P

Over the moon with our new bathroom 🤩 Contacted General Handyman Services on Tuesday, Slawek came in on Thursday morning to have a look at the old bathroom, gave us a quote immediately and by Monday we had 3 ppl in ready to go. Job done within the original timeline with few minor bits done the following week but Slawek was always easy to reach and very flexible. Excellent communication from the get go - he responded quickly to all of my questions and arranged to do the job within 2 days. He arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently and did a fantastic job replacing my bathtub, shower and bath screen. Slawek was very professional, I called him out of hours and although he couldn’t come on that evening he guided us through to find the faulty device that was causing the electrics to trip. He explained everything in detail and we have found the problem ourselves and the electrics were back on. Amazing and free of charge. Kitchen installed. Just completed and looks lovely. The team have a variety of skills, electrical, plumbing, tiling etc so all the work was carried out including installation of gas hob. There were a few hiccups but they remained calm and patient with me when I got a bit anxious and corrected issues I highlighted. I think the prices charged are reasonable. I will be getting the team back for my bathroom and other jobs. ~ Bernadette B

General Handyman Services did a great job for us. They came promptly and fixed a leaking shower wall, retiling and regrouting it to a really good standard. They also repaired and redecorated the damaged bathroom ceiling. Everything was completed efficiently and professionally, and the finished result looks great. Slawomir's team did full refurbishment which includes Kitchen, wardrobe and painting the flat. They did very good job and i am pleased with the work. All the work has been completed yesterday and he promised if any issue arises in next 12 months he is happy to resolve for me. Shower Catridge change and New Bath Tub with Mixer tapes: Slavic attended on time to install my new corner bathtub with new mixer taps and shower hose. Very knowledgeable and work was professional and to a very high standard. Slavic went to the local screwfix to fetch a waste and flexi hose for the taps without prompt. We found General Handyman services advertised on Gumtree, after reading the reviews we thought we would get the work completed by them. Got a quote for fitting a kitchen, from a flat pack, relocating cooker, washing machine basically a whole new kitchen from scratch. This was to include fitting spotlights in the kitchen, tiling the floor and walls. What an amazing job Slawek and Artur did, no cutting corners, done to perfection exactly what we asked and beyond that. They both did such amazing exceptional job that this led to tiling the whole flooring downstairs, fitting spotlights all downstairs and upstairs too. The workmanship carried out by both Slawek and Arthur is that of where they are extremely trustworthy, hardworking, minds their own business and gets the job done that’s required and doesn’t drag it on. They both work to highest standards, ensuring that you are happy and their work is just perfection, that’s the honest truth, we will not go anywhere else but get General Handyman services to do all the work we need done as they do it once and do it properly. Slawomir and his team did an awesome job on my flat renovation. This included installing a new kitchen, bathroom, cupboards, electricity and gas., They were reasonably priced, worked fast, and the work is to a high standard. He is a nice guy too! Reasonably priced, and like a tornado he passed through and expertly completed the plumbing job for a new dishwasher in about 10mins flat. We needed a hose kitchen tap changed very quickly - the communication between us was excellent, I was never left in the dark as to when he could come to change the tap - he arrived on time and the work was excellent.
